With daily evening sessions — Monday through Saturday starting at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday beginning at 6:30 p.m. — Big Tex Bingo offers Houstonians a predictable schedule of ample playing time. Doors open two hours before games begin, and players are encouraged to arrive early since the parking lot is known to fill quickly. Once inside, players can grab a bite to eat from Big Momma’s Kitchen, which also serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The family-owned and operated Bingo hall also sells game accessories on-site, perfect for any Bingo-lover. Regular visitors are encouraged to sign up for their self-titled rewards card to earn points that can be used towards future purchases at the Bingo hall. In addition, players can feel good knowing a portion of their playing fees are donated to local charities, including Excel Retreat Ministries, American Legion Post 490 South Houston, Living History Studies, Pride Charities, The Reunion Institute and Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church.
