Join AVR; (97.7FM, 1350AM, or 1450AM) & CKDY; (99.7FM Digby and 103.3FM Weymouth) every Monday evening at 7pm for an hour of Valley Lions Radio Bingo. Graveside service will be held Monday, August 4th, at11am at Forest City Cemetery, South Portland. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association 170 U.S. Route 1, Suite 250, Falmouth, ME 0410.

The University Park Lions General Membership meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month.

Our Club's Board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.

We meet at the Delta Lions Home located at 1725 Hickory St. in Harahan, LA. Please contact Lion Anthony Fregosi, PDG at 817-480-5802 for more information or if you have any questions.

The University Park Lions Club holds a fundraising bingo every Sunday at the Lions Bingo Hall at 7401 Airline Hwy. in Metairie, LA. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with games starting at 7:00 p.m.

Lions Bingo Hall Schedules

On 30 March 1953 a Representative of Lion's International from Toronto, some members of the Lion Clubs of Renfrew, Shawville and Cobden met with 18 interested men from Beachburg. The Beachburg Lions Club was Chartered 8 May 1953 by 26 members known as Charter Members.Cobden Lions Club was the sponsor of the Beachburg Lions Club. In 1981 the Club purchased the Hall from Westmeath Townpship and the Club still meets at this Hall. The Club dedicated the War Memorial. In 1987 women were invited to join Lions International. It wasn't until December 1995 that the Club inducted the first three women. We now have 5 women as members. The Club is celebrating its 72nd. year of being a Chartered Lions Club.

MEETING PLACE

The Beachburg Lions Meet every 2nd and 4th Monday each month except July and August. The Lions Hall is located at 9 Hannah St, Beachburg. The Dinner starts at 7 p.m. and the Meeting starts approximately 7.30 p.m.The 4th.Monday is a Dinner meeting.
